Duties and Responsibilities

• Measuring and cutting materials to ensure that they fit securely around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls.
• Placement, removal and repair of various roofing materials such as asphalt, wood and plastics.
• Safely setting up ladders, scaffolding and hoisting equipment as required.
• Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
• Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven roofing or general construction experience.
• Working knowledge of different roofing systems.
• Sound knowledge of business ordinances.
• The ability to lift heavy materials and tools.
• The ability to use powered hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Pay varies based on experience.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge to customers of services and processes
• Communicating estimates to customers
• Safely setting up ladders, scaffolding and hoisting equipment as required.
• Establish and strategically build a solid customer base
• Ability to perform all aspect of selling/closing a project
• Complete documents on time such as construction bids, customer proposals, change orders
• Maintain acceptable profit margins

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Roofing/General Construction Knowledge .
• Working knowledge of different roofing systems.
• Sound knowledge of business ordinances.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

ROOF INSPECTORS

Duties and Responsibilities

• Physically inspect roof installations for quality and workmanship
• Make repairs to roofs
• Provide support to Royal Roof Contractors and sales reps in territory.
• Can be physically challenging position that request bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, climbing, etc.
• Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines
• Schedule inspections and repairs and prepare reports for Royal Roof Contractors and clients

Requirements and Qualifications​​

• Two to four years of experience in commercial low slope roofing is highly desirable.
• Two to four years previous experience in construction, quality assurance, and roof inspections is highly desirable.
• Individual must be equipped with strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills (both orally and written).
• Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Demonstration of strong work ethics (punctual, dependable, and trustworthy) is necessary.
• The ability to utilize common sense and skills in completing responsibilities and operating equipment conforming to company production, personnel, and safety procedures is needed.
• The ability to read and comprehend roofing specifications.
• Must be able to communicate and handle conflict in a professional manner.
• Must have a good driving record
• Must be willing to do extensive regional travel
• Must be computer literate.
